Transforming Ireland’s Energy Industry

DP Energy and Iberdrola entered a joint venture in early 2021 to develop a 3GW pipeline of Irish offshore wind projects known as the Clarus Offshore Wind Farm, the Inis Ealga Marine Energy Park and the Shelmalere Offshore Wind Farm. The offshore pipeline will directly contribute to Ireland’s climate objective to reduce CO₂ emissions by 51% by 2030 and achieve Net-Zero by 2050. Both companies are focused on developing sustainable projects, which forms a part of the goal of achieving a genuinely green economy.

The joint venture aims to be part of the transformation of the energy industry here in Ireland from fossil fuel to green.

Our Team

Adam Cronin

As the Offshore Technical & Engineering Manager at DP Energy, Adam leads the technical teams in the development of the company’s offshore wind projects in Ireland.

Edwina White

As the Consenting and Environment Manager at DP Energy, Edwina is responsible for leading the environmental appraisal and consenting for the company’s offshore wind projects in Ireland.

Declan McMahon

As the Offshore Development Project Manager at Iberdrola, Declan works in conjunction with the DP Energy team in the development of the joint venture offshore wind projects in Ireland.
